A project can be billed to a client in a number of ways that are outlined below. The billing type can be changed at any point by editing the client, although this will only affect new invoices.
Non-billable
This project will not be billed to the client. Time can still be added to an invoice, however no value will be taken into account.
Fixed Fee
This project has a fixed fee that can be charged to a client all at once, or over multiple invoices. Any costs incurred through logged time won’t be billed, although these can still show on the invoice.
Hourly Fee
This project has an explicit hourly rate, regardless of which team member has logged time.
Hourly Fee by Task
This project is billed depending on how much time has been spent on each type of tasks.
Hourly Fee by Team Member
This project is billed on depending on which team member has logged time.
