A payment represents funds received from a client related to an invoice.

After creating an invoice, a client would be expected to pay it before the due date. They may opt to pay for it partially, or in full.

Creating a Payment

A payment can be created by tapping the payments button in the menu and then pushing “ Create”.

A payment must be associated with an invoice. It must also have the date that it was received and an amount. You can optionally add a payment reference and any notes you have.

Updating or Deleting a Payment

A payment can be updated or deleted by tapping the payments item in the menu and then selecting the relevant item from the “edit” drop down menu.**
